Crockpot ‘Everything’ Chicken and Potatoes

It may seem crazy that someone would put ‘everything’ seasoning in chicken, but it really is delicious anywhere. Try it! I love everything seasoning, and I love everything bagels. My favorite snack was an everything cracker from Trader Joes, which sadly doesn’t exist anymore. Also, I have my own shaker of ‘everything’ seasoning that I basically put on everything – mostly on the insides of my everything bagel – *haha*.

  • 1 whole chicken
  • 2 large carrots, peeled and cut into large rounds
  • 2 potatoes, cleaned and cut into slices
Ingredients for Everything Seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon coarse salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon sesame seeds
  • 1/4 teaspoon poppy seeds
  • 2 teaspoons dried minced onion
  • 2 teaspoons dried minced garlic

Add all the ingredients of the ‘everything’ seasoning in a small bowl.

Clean the chicken thoroughly, and rub the chicken with the ‘everything’ seasoning. Yes, on the skin, under the skin and even in the cavity!

Place the sliced potatoes on the bottom of the crockpot/slow cooker, then place the marinated chicken on top of the potatoes. Then, place the cut carrots on top of the chicken.

Cover, and turn the slow cooker on low for about 8 hours, or high for about 5 hours.

Serve and devour! Thank me later!
