Our first day in SF, we were walking around Haight and Ashbury and didn’t want to eat something ‘real’ before dinner so that we can fully enjoy our dinner. We passed by Crepe Express and it looked pretty crowded and so we stopped in. The place was nicely rustic with the wood paneling walls and all, but only had four tables. We didn’t bother waiting for one, so we just wolfed down our crepes outside! Good thing the weather in SF is good, unlike Boston!
Picpus (Lemon, sugar and butter) – $3.75: This combination sounds great, but they were really kinda stingy with the fillings. I tasted some lemon, but couldn’t really smell it for some reason. Probably wouldn’t get this again. 😦
La Parisienne (Banana, nutella and whipped cream) – $4.95: How can we go wrong with banana and nutella? Again, the fillings were on the stingy side. They didn’t put the whipped cream inside the crepe. Instead, they just squeezed some out of an aerosol can (really!?) on top of the crepe so that you had to eat all the whipped cream before getting to the banana and nutella. *sigh*
