Boston Eats: Yankee Lobster @ Harborfront

Some weeks ago, my friend Leah and her beau visited Boston for a day. One of their favorite things to do in the city was a trip to Yankee Lobster, then head next door to the Harpoon Brewery! Even though I live much closer to Yankee Lobster than Dallas, Texas, I’ve never been here OR the Harpoon Brewery before! What a fun day with an old friend!

When we got there, the line was out the door! I liked how the menu was really colorful, and that the specials were written on the pillars!

Clam Strips Plate – $10.99: I got the clam strip plate. I love clams, and my rationale behind getting a clam strip plate vs a clam plate was that clam strips had more surface area of friedness! Hahaha! This was delicious, albeit a little too much food for me. Luke got one of those crazy platters with everything and finished all of it. I have no idea how he did that, but good for him. The portions are huge here!

Clam Chowder – $4.25: Didn’t manage to get a photo before it was gone. It was served in a little paper cup with pre-packaged oyster biscuits. Nothing that spectacular, but at least it tasted good, fresh and creamy! Yum!
