Visited El Potro as our first stop in Orlando. We bought discount (rather minimal) Disneyworld tickets and had to pick them up in a DHL or some shipping storefront and it was located just next to El Potro, hence it was just out of convenience that we stopped here.
Here’s the menu!
Like any decent Mexican place, they put chips and salsa in front of you when you are first seated. The chips are delicious — super crisp and light, and the salsa is also delicious–really light, somewhat pureed and not too spicy! This was perfect, especially immediately after our long flight.
The bar is super cute! And we also found out that they do lunch buffets for $10 or $11.
I thought this page of the menu was fun! Cho-ree-soh… Haha!
One beef chimichanga, rice, beans, and a Mexican salad lunch special – forgot how much, but it was definitely less than $10: Good chimichanga! The tortilla skin was super soft and moist, and had a good texture. I also liked the cheese they used as well. Good value!
Two tacos and one cheese quesadilla lunch special – forgot how much, but it was definitely less than $10: I got two al pastor tacos, and the al pastor filling was delicious! It was sweet-ish, and very very flavorful. I like that they added some cheese to it as well. The taco shells were perfectly crisp, and it was a good combination. The cheese quesadilla was what brought out the best in the cheese! It was delicious!
